The Elk Valley Hospital offers services including inpatient, obstetrics, emergency, and select orthopedic & general surgeries, and services approximately 18,000 people in Fernie, Sparwood, Elkford and the south country.

Qualifications:
- Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with CPSBC; Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Hours of work: Full Time
On call requirements: Flexible

Rural Incentives include:
Recruitment bonus: $20,000
Relocation: $9,000 – $15,000 based on move location
Fee Premium: 15.54%
Annual Retention: $24,082.56
Rural CME: max of $5,720/year after 4 years in practice
